KV331 Audio SynthMaster 2 - Tutorial Part 7: Sequencers for modulation

Welcome to another episode on how to learn SynthMaster 2 by KV331 Audio. In this episode we are going to explore how you can modulate using sequencers. The internal Sequencers in SynthMaster 2 are not Midi sequencer but they are step sequencers up to 4 (or 6 for compatibility reasons). Each sequencer can be assigned as a modulator to one or more parameter inside the synth. Each sequencer has a number of steps that can be defined and even a loop can be set for a specific number of steps. You can change speed of playing the steps and you can synchronise the speed to the BPM of the host and use 2 different multipliers to further adjust it. You can change the intensity of modulation for each step, the lag, the noise and you can even apply an overall envelope to the sequence of steps so that you can set attack, release and final outcome of the modulation. There is a zoomed view where you can further make adjustments to the wave shape of each individual steps and change the way you interact on the screen (Normal, glide, up, down, free form etc.). You can even adjust the number of divisions on the Y grid for further control. Finally you can cross fade between the wave shapes of each steps and the traditional sawtooth waveform. And do not forget that inside the enhanced view you can even set randomisation of steps.

Lots of possibility and parameters in the sequencer. Enjoy.
